Borough Waste Water Treatment Plant – Hopewell Township, PA

Engineering performed the structural design for the expansion
and upgrade to the existing facility. The scope of work
included the design of a metering and screening chamber, aerated
grit chamber, a new treatment tank, a building, and the
foundation for a lime silo. The treatment tank is 75 feet
square and 14 feet deep. The building is concrete and load
bearing masonry block with a steel joist roof structure. The
building houses equipment on the upper floor while the lower
floor is for water storage. The lime silo is supported by a
concrete caisson system. The design was performed for Paragon
Engineering Services, Inc. and James R. Holley & Associates,
Inc.
